The various individual elements of this project were carefully considered by the owners, ensuring a cohesive theme for the renovation of their primary bedroom. Elements of work included the repairs to the open collar tie system, constructing a ceiling with mechanicals over the bathroom (designed to accommodate storage above), building a new walk-in closet (also designed to accommodate storage above), installing two birch sliding pocket-doors, installing new electrical devices and fixtures, closing off a preexisting entry way from the exterior, and adding a few finishing touches to punctuate the sleeping quarters and entertainment space.

With the clients’ optics, these various individual parts became the means to construct a unified whole, tying the entire room together. All while adding additional functionality to the space.
